Our Facility
Nestled on the wooded campus with the LifeQuest Nursing Center, we are conveniently located near both Route 309 and the Pennsylvania turnpike. Our newly renovated facility boasts two playgrounds to excite and challenge children at many aspects of their development. During the summer of 2012, we expanded our outdoor learning space to include The Irene Bertha Hiser Children’s Garden. The children themselves are responsible for planting and tending to the garden. We have also added an outdoor science lab. It is not uncommon to see blue jays and cardinals feeding at one of the birdfeeders. It is also not uncommon to spy a deer nibbling from the pear trees or see wild turkeys feeding in the fields behind the school.
Offering care and education for children birth through kindergarten from 6 am – 6 pm allows us to provide peace of mind to working families. Our highly qualified educators receive continuing professional development and are mentored by myself or my Assistant Director to keep up with the latest research and advances in the profession of early childhood education. Our Private Academic Kindergarten, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, will prepare your child to take on the challenges of First Grade. Partnering with The United Way of Bucks County, we are able to provide preschool at no cost, to those who qualify, to participate in our Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts classroom. No matter the age of the children in their care, our teachers create experiences for them with a purpose. Students are encouraged to explore the world around them and use their own curiosity to lead to discovery. We have achieved STAR 4 recognition in the PA Quality Partners System called Keystone STARS.
Our proximity to the LifeQuest Nursing Center offers many opportunities to the students and teachers. Intergenerational activities occur monthly, with the children visiting their “grand-friends” to sing songs, create artwork or read stories. These rare opportunities to visit instill respect for the elderly that a child may not gain elsewhere.
