Prek Counts

Mrs. Kimberly Day

Pre K Counts Director:

My name is Kimberly Day, and I am the Director of LifeSpan’s Pre-K Counts and Upper Perkiomen School Age Program. I graduated with my BS in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University and joined the LifeSpan family in July 2024! During my 20 years in the field, I have worn many hats including teacher, assistant director, director, and brand ambassador. Each role has shaped me into the educator, and leader, that I am today.

Outside of work, I can be found spending time with my husband, Seth, and our two girls, Brynn, and Reese. We enjoy traveling to the Finger Lakes in New York, Florida, hiking, trips to the beach and being with family and friends. During the fall and spring, you can find me in my role as soccer mom as my oldest plays soccer for Triboro Soccer Club.

In my role as Director, I understand the impact I have on young children’s early development, fostering their love of lifelong learning and social/emotional development. I am committed to building positive relationships with our families and leading our team of educators by offering continuous learning through trainings and best practice in early childhood education.

Mrs. Jill

Pre K Counts Pfaff & Summer Camp:

My name is Jill and I started working at Lifespan in April 2016 teaching full day private academic Kindergarten.  I have been teaching Pre-K Counts at Pfaff Elementary School since 2021.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Grades Preparation from West Chester University in 2013.  I am certified to teach pre-k through 4th grade.  I am currently taking classes to obtain my level 2 teaching certification.
I live in Quakertown with my husband and our daughter Nylah, our dog Tyson and cat Whispurr.  In my free time I like to draw, paint, travel, walk my dog and spend time with my family and friends.  What I love about working with children is that every day is a new learning experience, whether it’s “me teaching them or them teaching me.”

Mrs. Emily

Pre K Counts Richland:

My name is Emily Dees and I have taught in the Early Childhood field for more than 25 years.  I joined the Lifespan team in 2015 as the Pre K Counts teacher at the Richland Elementary School.  I have my Bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University.  Being raised with a father in the Navy, I have grown to love traveling.  Each summer my daughter, who is currently at the Sixth Grade Center, helps in planning a road trip.  I love to see her passion for travel grow.  During the school year I find it very rewarding to work with your children and watch them grow.  I strive to create a family atmosphere with open communication.  I look forward to each year’s new adventures here at Lifespan Pre K Counts!
